I knew the workshop needed a good cleaning but kept putting it off. Now that things are scattered about, I decided to sort through and organize the material and then pitch the unwanted clutter. Like many I tend to hold on to scraps and other stuff, thinking that I’ll find a use for it. Six months later, that junk is still around along with more stuff waiting for a new life. It doesn’t take long for the situation to become unbearable. After a thorough cleaning, I’m always surprised at how large a clean clutter free space feels.
Life is not static and the unexpected happens. Susan and I didn’t plan to replace the mechanical systems of the house this soon but, for once, we’re in a good place and we can handle it. Modeling will be on hold for a time but not for that long. It’s good to take a break once in a while.
Regards,
Mike
When I feel tired or bored of modeling I usually clean my clutter. It makes me feel like I’ve accomplished something, and gives me a clean canvas to generate interest again.
I feel the same way Greg. A clean space feels like a fresh start.
